Continuing from Frog says Magus would be a huge failure in his sisters eyes:

Monsters: What??
Magus: Long ago, when Lavos awakened, she was sent to the bottom of the sea protecting me. Now you know!
Monsters: Inspired by this new development Nu has written a song: So sad, so sad to happen to the young man...
Frog: You making fun of this? Because you summoned Lavos, that energy marked the fight. (Not sure exactly what to make of that sentence lol)
Magus: Think what you want. So you guys came here to sort things out.

Ok finally lol back in action.

Magus: Time is running out in the fight against Lavos.
Nu and friend: That thing hasn't moved, when you fight it it's the same. Why so lazy huh?
Magus: Pfft What do you know? (Nothing) Lavos is absorbing the energy of a star and is a growing parasite. After he has absorbed all the energy the parisited star is destroyed and he moves onto the next...the time of the collapse of the earth approaches. (I realize parisited is not an English word but that is what my bro wrote)
Nu's friend: I wanted to see the world cup!
Nu: I have that yakiimo in the fridge I haven't eaten yet! (Scrambling feet)
Frog: Trembling* Demon king! Your defeat will have to wait! (For the moment)

Yeah apparently they become allies outside of everything in the game lol if this can be considered an alternate story despite the silliness and non canon stuff.
